The 2023 BMW 8 Series comes in three different guises: the 840i, M850i xDrive, and the range-topping M8. All three are available as either coupes, elegantly-styled four-door Gran Coupes, or open-top convertibles. The 840i and 840i xDrive utilize a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing 335 horsepower. The M850i xDrive gets a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 good for an incredible 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the M8 receives an M-tuned twin-turbo V8 delivering 617 horsepower.
