As we get closer to the holidays, the end of the year is creeping up fast, which means that new 2023 models have just or are about to hit the lots to celebrate the new year. Today, we talk about the 2023 BMW X7 and what we can expect for Scranton car shoppers. Check out what we know so far about this year’s upcoming model.

The 2023 BMW X7

This year, we expect to see some significant changes to the BMW X7. Things like a new powertrain upgrade, more standard features across the lineup, new designs inside and out, and more.

New Features Expected for the 2023 BMW X7

The 2023 BMW X7 will get a significant facelift to create a more animated exterior, paired with a larger infotainment center on the newly designed dashboard and new 23-inch rims. In addition to the three trims across the lineup, more standard features and driver-assistance technology will be added.

As far as the upgraded powertrain goes, the xDrive40i trim now hosts a turbocharged engine that boasts 375 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque – a substantial difference from the previous year’s specs. We also see a name change on the second-tier trim. The M50i is now the M60i and receives an upgraded powertrain with a new twin-turbo 4.4-liter and 48-volt hybrid system. Lastly, the top-tier Alpina XB7 trim will now output 630 horsepower compared to last year’s.
